Silicon was founded in 1989 to focus on the business applications market place with integrated hardware and software solutions for various platforms running on the major operating system. In the year 1995 Silicon focused more closely on valued added services for repair, maintenance and remanufacturing services for Tape Drives and Autoloaders.

Silicon has state of the art, repair and service facility at Ahmedabad, India. The facility is equipped to repair and remanufacture Tape drives, Digital Linear Tape drives, LTO and Autoloaders for mechanical and component failures. Silicon’s expertise is in using best of the technologies and skills to provide quality services to its customers.

Silicon’s customer base span all over India and some parts of Asia – Pacific region. Customers include large and medium size Original Equipment Manufacturers (Computer OEMs) and many of them are multinationals ranking in World’s top 5 computer companies.

Silicon’s facility management group specialized on the management of the back up libraries at customer site and for very large and important sites.
